about cinema politica Cape Cod

In a small town renowned for its oceanographic and marine biological institutions and progressive community spirit, our objective is to bring scientists and skeptics together for debate and hands-on political engagement.

Film topics range from politics in the Middle East, environmental and energy issues, indigenous rights, and the dilemmas inherent in corporate-driven globalization. With the underlying belief that documentaries have the power to not just inform, but transform society, occasional guest speakers and community groups help generate discussion after the screenings.

Screenings will be held every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Donations are gratefully accepted to help cover the cost of the room, printing and postage. Contact capecod@cinemapolitica.org for more information.
