About Cinema Politica St. Francis Xavier
We at Cinema Politica Saint Francis Xavier feel that knowledge about and debate of critical social and political issues on university campuses is an integral part of building an informed citizenry. To that end, we screen thought-provoking films to the St.FX and Antigonish communities in order to raise awareness of these issues and to facilitate engagement with and involvement in progressive causes.
All screenings are pay-what-you-can and everyone is welcome to attend.
The screenings will be followed by an open discussion and debate of the issues involved. When possible, relevant speakers will be included in the event.
