Cinema Politica on the high seas !!!
Cinema Politica is taking to the high seas aboard a tall ship based program called Class Afloat.
This documentary series is led by high school aged youth for high school aged youth, and aims to provoke discussion about, and awareness of current social and environmental issues.
This series showcases national and international documentaries and follows screenings with a youth moderated discussion designed to encourage a greater understanding of the topics discussed. This documentary series is hosted locally by a Nova Scotia based not-for-profit called the Global Education Association, an organization that aims to engage youth in global issues and local community development.
The Global Education Association is currently building a resource package that will provide additional information and curricula for youth educators and youth leaders.
