The Steps For The Future video collection has emerged out of a collaboration of Southern African and international filmmakers, broadcasters, AIDS organizations and people living with HIV / AIDS who have united to produce high–quality, professional films. These compelling stories reveal the effect of the HIV / AIDS pandemic on the lives of individuals, families, communities and nations. -Dayzero Productions 2006

Khalo Matabane will present his film Love in the Time of Sickness along with several others produced for the Steps For The Future initiative, and will answer questions afterward.

Love in the Time of Sickness is a half hour documentary. Forming part of the Steps for the Future documentary series, this film explores the complexities and difficulties of forming relationships in a time when AIDS forms such an undeniable part of the South African experience. The film was screened on BBC, SABC and TV2 in Denmark.
