About Grande Prairie Cinema Politica
Cinema Politica Grande Prairie is a bi-weekly film screening directed towards educating, entertaining, and informing viewers of the social, environmental, cultural and political issues that we face in the world today, and what some people are doing about them. The film and discussion afterwards are intended to stimulate independent thought and functional communication; to spark self-empowerment and direct, positive action, with an emphasis on supportive community involvement and grass-roots ideals. The screening admission is free for everyone, but donations are gladly accepted to help with screening & venue costs.
