About Lunenburg Cinema Politica

Welcome to Cinema Politica Lunenburg!

This documentary series created by youth for youth aims to provoke discussion about, and engagement in, current social and environmental issues.

This series showcases national and international documentaries and is open to all community members. Discussions moderated by a host or guest speaker will follow the films with the intent of encouraging a greater understanding of the topics discussed.

All films presented will take place on the 3rd floor of the Lunenburg Academy and will be free of charge. Donations are accepted, and any funds raised will be used to support the continuation of Cinema Politica Lunenburg and WICI Global Educations Association effort supporting grassroots initiatives in Senegal.

Screenings will be held once a month so be sure to look for our posters in town, our announcements in the local media and the online schedule for our upcoming screenings.

We'd love to see you there!
