The Ottawa Cinema Politica runs alternative documentary films and moderates post-film discussions every Friday evening of the academic year (September to April, excluding exam periods). The main themes are social justice, radical (at the root) analysis of society, and activism. The film nights often include meeting the filmmakers and are often hosted by local groups. During academic terms when Activism Course is offered, the films echo the speaker topics in the course.
