About Cinema Politica Sydney Film Festival (Australia)
Whilst geographically isolated from most of the rest of the world, and with only a relatively small population, Australia has a history of always fighting above its weight and its political movement is no different. With no affiliation to any major Australian political movements, Cinema Politica Sydney is setting up shop to provide a strong hold for meaningful discussion on social, cultural and political issues and to be a place to meet up and share those ideas with people you see eye to eye with, and those who you don't!
We're proud to call The Red Rattler Theatre in Marrickville home. Founded as a collective community and performance space, the anarchic sprit of the rattler is a nice foil for what we hope to be a stimulating, intense and ultimatly rewarding festival!
We screen films the last Wednesday of every month from 7pm.
