About Cinema Politica Trondheim

Cinema Politica Trondheim is a newly founded local of the international Cinema Politica network of film clubs. We will have free film screenings every other thursday in Realfagsbygget at Gløshaugen campus. The screenings are of course open to everyone, and we will also open for discussion after the screenings.

The films on our program tell stories that are largely being ignored or misrepresented by the press, and are about issues like the environment, human rights and economic justice. We will coordinate some of our screenings with Café NorthSouth, a local debate forum, so that these films may provide an introduction to some of the topics of their debate meetings this semester.
