Cinema Politica Whistler at Whistler Public Library screens independent documentary films to engage audiences on important socio-political, environmental, cultural & economic issues in Canada and worldwide. Held on the second Thursday of each month, the library partners with a Whistler Non-Profit to draw local connections and highlight shared global issues through Cinema Politica films.
Admission is open to everyone. Doors open at 6:45PM, films begin at 7:00PM with discussion afterwards facilitated by debate host Jeff Slack. Come out, bring your friends, and let Cinema Politica burst the Whistler ‘bubble’ and inspire the future-thinking change-maker in you!
