about cinema politica York University

Cinema Politica York University is a social and culture awareness group. We seek to be inclusive, and provide a place and forum for discussion of issues which can be controversial and challenging. We do not believe we have the answers, but seek to create a space to discuss choice, perspective, and ideologies, on issues such as the environment, war, labour, sex and gender. Each screening differs from the next, and we try to provide a space to discuss the issues, as well as have workshops when we can!

You can find us on facebook too! Cheers! ...and see you at the movies!
