Two artistically brave animal rights films released on CPVOD today

Cinema Politica is delighted to announce our newest Video on Demand (VOD) release - MAXIMUM TOLERATED DOSE by Canadian filmmaker Karol Orzechowski. This creative doc is a favourite at CP and we are honoured to be offering as part of the CPVOD library. MTD is an incredibly moving and poetic intervention in the animal rights debate and is a must-see for anyone interested in the welfare of animals or in the ways in which more artistically-inclined documentary filmmakers can challenge non-fiction filmmaking conventions. After viewing the film be sure to check out our Q&A with the director here.

Also tackling the issue of animal rights, this time in fiction form, is the very bold feature BOLD NATIVE by Denis Henry Hennelly, an American filmmaker and activist. Where MTD offers nuanced and introspective insight into people who have worked at jobs harming animals, BOLD NATIVE is a fast-paced thrilling political adventure that intimately peers into the lives of direct action animal rights activists. CP is delighted to offer this political fiction indy on our streaming channel for free here. And after viewing this gem be sure to read the Art Threat interview with the director here.

Check out the always-expanding library of CPVOD titles at vod.cinemapolitica.org and start streaming truth to power today.
