Not another \u2018broken prison\u2019 film, Conviction is a \u2018broken society\u2019 film \u2013 an ambitious and inspired re-build of our community, from the inside out. With more women in prisons than ever before, the film implicates viewers to question the status quo, and to consider a different kind of society that better supports the most vulnerable among us.<\/p>\n<p><em>Conviction\u2019s<\/em> approach aims to collapse the \u2018us\u2019 and the \u2018them\u2019, the filmmaker and the subject, the viewer and the women in prison.
