Au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000, alors que l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e isra\u00e9lienne riposte contre la deuxi\u00e8me intifada en Cisjordanie, Suha filme son quotidien familial, ponctu\u00e9 de fr\u00e9quents d\u00e9placements souterrains et accabl\u00e9 par l&rsquo;angoisse de ses deux jeunes enfants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 chaque moment de danger intense, elle promet \u00e0 Dieu qu&rsquo;elle partira si eux survivent. En 2017, son fils, le r\u00e9alisateur de ce film, d\u00e9couvre cet archive et renoue avec ce pass\u00e9 refoul\u00e9, se demandant avec sa m\u00e8re ce qui l&rsquo;a pouss\u00e9e \u00e0 enregistrer un quotidien de souffrance, une enfance vol\u00e9e, et pourquoi elle a retard\u00e9 la fuite, paralys\u00e9e par l&rsquo;espoir de changement et alourdie par le choix impossible entre la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 physique et le bouleversement \u00e9motionnel.
