Cinema Politica – Citizens for Peace is dedicated to fostering global peace through the power of film. Based in Siknikt, the unceded and ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq, our local chapter aims to enlighten and engage the communities of Moncton, Riverview, and Dieppe.
We are committed to highlighting the struggles for Palestinian liberation and indigenous liberation worldwide, recognizing these as integral to the broader fight for justice and equity. Our screenings will feature films that explore these crucial topics, aiming to spark dialogue and inspire action.
Our advocacy is rooted in principles of justice, equality, and human and environmental rights. We believe in the interconnected nature of global struggles for liberation and strive to build a diverse, inclusive movement that welcomes everyone, knowing that our strength lies in our unity.
Join us as we use the power of cinema to push for a more just and equitable world.
