About Cape Breton Cinema Politica

Welcome to Cinema Politica Cape Breton!

WHAT: We hope to host regular documentary screenings on a wide variety of subjects, with historical and current, global and regional issues. Our goal is to provide informative and thought-provoking content to foster knowledge, understanding, and discussion in our community. The group is open to absolutely everyone, and a friendly and relaxed discussion following the screenings is encouraged.

WHEN: Wednesdays at 7 pm (subject to change, depending on room availability)

WHERE: McConnell Library, 50 Falmouth St., on the corner of Charlotte St., Sydney. We cannot book the library for more than two dates in a row, so we are looking for a permanent home. Have an idea? Let us know!

WHAT ELSE?
POPCORN and toppings will be provided. Some bowls will be available, but it would be helpful if you could bring your own.
Admission and popcorn are free of charge! However, we will be accepting small donations to cover popcorn and promotional materials, and to help Cinema Politica purchase screening rights for the documentaries.

We hope to see you soon!
