Halifax

Hello everyone and welcome!
CP-Halifax is going to be starting it's third season in earnest.
We hope to attract students, faculty and the general Halifax community together to an alternative film series that seeks to provoke discussion and debate on current issues focusing on social and environmental justice.
All films presented will be free of charge although donations are encouraged to help support the series and network. Following the screenings, discussion of the film and the theme will take place, moderated by a host, to encourage facilitation of information and knowledge. In addition, speakers may be invited on select dates to help discuss the movie through a presentation or a Q&A session.
Screenings will be held roughly every two weeks in a number of community venues over the course of the year. Our first year, most of the screenings were at the Dalhousie Student Union Building (SUB) and the NSCAD Bell Auditorium and our second year, the majority of our screenings were at Saint Mary's University.
This season we will be screening in a number of community venues as a means to encourage diverse audience participation and broad public access to education on social and environmental issues.
Be sure to look for our posters, announcements and the schedule of our upcoming screenings. We'd love to see you there!
