Cinema Politica Vancouver – The Museum of Anthropology

Screening truth to power since 2016
The Museum of Anthropology (UBC) is pleased to partner with Cinema Politica to showcase films to local, international, and student audiences. The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) is a place of worlds arts and cultures with a special emphasis on the First Nations peoples of British Columbia, Canada.
MOA film screenings promote an informal cross-pollination of ideas and analyses on themes of social justice, activism, history, environmentalism, and artistic and cultural expression.  Creating a safe forum for discussion, we encourage visitors to engage, beyond the film, in critical debates with the filmmakers, knowledgeable speakers, or community members, but most importantly with each other.
Films are always free with Museum admission.  For more information on screenings, please visit MOA’s website.

Stay tuned for upcoming screenings!
