About Peace River Cinema Politica
Cinema Politica Peace River is excited to announce that we will be screening two films a month starting February 2009. The intent is to facilitate access to documentaries that are often difficult for people in the region to access. We want to catalyze discussion and generate the exchange of ideas surrounding social, environmental, economic and cultural issues.
Donations are encouraged but no one is turned away. All funds will go toward screening costs as well as local organizing efforts committed to social change.
The films will be screened Monday evenings at the Ground Level Youth Centre aka. The House on the Hill. Show time at 7PM, doors open at 6:30. Discussion to follow. Everyone welcome!
