Célébration du Mois de l’histoire des femmes

Sur trois continents, les titres de la Journée internationale de la femme de ce mois-ci (INVOKING JUSTICE de Deepa Dhanraj, FINDING SALLY de Tamara Dawit et CARRIE M. BEST : CHAMPION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS de Sylvia Hamilton) mettent en lumière trois luttes distinctes pour l’autonomie des femmes contre les structures suprémacistes, misogynes et autoritaires de la race blanche. Bien que les sujets de chaque film mettent en œuvre leur révolte par différents moyens – journalisme, droit, révolution armée – chacun célèbre l’action féministe inébranlable : une nécessité intemporelle qui unit les femmes du monde entier.
