Cinema Politica is delighted to co-present the latest edition of Queer Cinema For Palestine: a program of short films at the intersection of queerness and Palestinian resistance. This eclectic slate of titles includes everything from hand-drawn avant-garde works to internet archive collages. Despite the unique array of aesthetics and perspectives, each film is composed with a clenched-fist, vehemently opposing the continued genocide of Palestinians. Filmmakers include: Robin Riad, Seza Tiyara Selen, Jannis Osterburg, Dima Hamdan, Tara Hakim, Hannah Hull, Raghed Charabaty, Dana Dawud, Teyama AlKamli, and Omar Gabriel.
Cinema Politica will be hosting this screening of Queer Cinema For Palestine 2025 at J.A. de Sève Cinema, Concordia University on Jun 25, 2025 at 19:00. Admission is free and by donation
Queer Cinema for Palestine (QCP)’s No Pride in Genocide (June 2025) is a global film event, co-organized by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) and 100+ partners in 30+ countries, from China to Ecuador. The third edition of QCP invites grassroots, solidarity, and arts organizations across the world to host screenings of a stellar collectively curated short film program throughout the month of June 2025.
