This documentary highlights trauma, healing, and resilience through the voices of inspiring individuals resisting Israeli oppression and fighting for a liberated Palestine

Where the Olive Trees Weep, (2024), directed by Zaya Benazzo and Maurizio Benazzo, a powerful documentary providing a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. A moderator will facilitate the discussion, and we will have guest speaker Ms. Israa Aljaish, a PhD student in the department of Social Anthropology at St Andrews, whose talk will focus on resilience from an anthropological perspective.

Our first film screening launch will be on Wednesday, 26 November from 6-9:30, featuring the film Where the Olive Trees Weep, (2024), directed by Zaya Benazzo and Maurizio Benazzo, a powerful documentary providing a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation.
