about cinema politica arizona

We are excited to start Cinema Politica Arizona in collaboration with the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability at Arizona State University. We aim to screen documentaries that shed light on the social, political, and economic contexts of sustainability issues, while connecting with action groups, filmmakers, students, and organizations committed to environmental justice and education through film. As a mix of newcomers to Arizona and homegrown folks, we hope to support ongoing conversations on critical sustainability issues across the Phoenix valley. See you at the theatre!
