Cinema Politica Groningen is proud to team up with USVA for a screening of Franz Böhm’s Dear Future Children! This gripping and inspiring portrait of three GenZ women for whom political complacency is not an option offers a valuable perspective on youth activism movements around the world. As a film “by the next generation, for the next generation”, Dear Future Children reminds us that the best time to protect tomorrow is today, and that anyone can be the change that they want to see.

Annamária Neag is an Assistant Professor in Media Studies, Her research focusses on online and offline youth activism movements. Milica Krunić is a member of ROOD Groningen, a socialist youth activist organisation in Groningen. The post-screening conversation will be moderated by Youssra Lafith, a Master’s candidate in Arts in Society and a long-time volunteer with Cinema Politica Groningen.
