COLONIZATION ROAD confronts the wreckage of Canadian colonization with radical viewpoints, historical correctives and a dash of humour.

Synopsis

COLONIZATION ROAD unearths the history of the Public Lands Act of 1853—its impact on First Nations, treaties, land and the expansion of "Canadian" settlement—and follows Anishinaabe comedian and activist Ryan McMahon along Fort Frances' Colonization Road.
