The Ride Ahead follows the ongoing work of GenZ accessibility activist, Samuel Habib. When Samuel turns 21 and feels shut out from the physical, social, political, and urban environments where he lives because of his reliance on an electronic wheelchair and a digital speech assistant, he seeks the advice of renowned disability activists to make his community into a more inclusive, accepting, and accessible place. The Ride Ahead is the second major film by father-and-son duo of Daniel and Samuel Habib, following on their Emmy-Award-winning My Disability Roadmap (2022).
