How does it feel to be Black, LGBTQ+, or Muslim in one of Europe’s most homogenous and increasingly right-leaning countries? POLYLAND offers a powerful and intimate portrait of three women—Ania, Miriam, and Elmelda—who navigate identity, activism, and belonging in Poland.

Born and raised in Wrocław, they challenge the perception of being “the other” in their own country. Through self-help groups, protests, and public engagement, they strive to carve out space in a society that they call home. But with Poland’s rightwing political landscape, their fight for inclusion becomes even more urgent.

Join us for a free screening of this timely and thought-provoking documentary, followed by an aftertalk on identity, resistance, and solidarity in the face of rising right-wing politics across Europe. Guests will be announced soon!
