Audience Choice Awards 2025 Winners

It’s our pleasure to announce the winner of our annual Audience Choice Award is Karen Cho’s BIG FIGHT IN LITTLE CHINATOWN with Fil Ieropoulos’ AVANT-DRAG! as a runner-up. Though these two films depict very distinct communities (Chinatown inhabitants across three North American metropolises and Athenian drag artists), they’re united in a commitment to tender and empowering storytelling. Both films advocate for both the importance of spotlighting marginalized figures and for a unified, collective resistance against the repressions of white supremacy and heteronormativity.
