NATO: A Strong Today for a Safe Tomorrow

An animated, satirical history of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), from it’s start as a counter-balance to Soviet Power, to it’s present-day mandate of “peace-keeping”. Originally created as an animated segment to Amy Miller and Boban Chaldovich’s documentary ‘Myths for Profit: Canada’s Role in the Industries of War and Peace’. This animation was done with paper and markers, then animated in Final Cut Pro… real punk-rock shoe string budget style.
