We are happy to finally share with you the date our first 2023 screening, which is going to be quite special, as it will take place both in Vienna, at the usual location, and in Trieste (Italy).

Trieste is a town close to the borders with Slovenia that has sadly become famous for being the end point of the so-called Balkan route, through which migrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Bangladesh, etc. reach Italy in search for a better future…

Therefore, we have chosen to start by screening two short documentaries on the topic of migrations, which will be followd by a Q&A session with the movie makers.

Bren López Zepeda is a Mexican-Canadian filmmaker and animator based in Montreal. She has worked on three animated productions at the National Film Board of Canada and two independent animated features at Unité Centrale/ Embuscades under the direction of Félix Dufour-Laperrière.
